HOTEL METROPOLE

Located on the left bank of Geneva city, the Hotel Metropole is a five-star landmark property nestled on the shores of lake Geneva at the foot of the old town, with its wealth of luxury shopping streets and banking immediately to the rear of the property.

In 2016, the city of Geneva appointed Stuart Forbes Associates (SFA) to undertake a feasibility study to realign the hotel as a ‘lifestyle’ offer. Following this initial study, SFA teamed up with Independent Hospitality Associates (IHA) as the successful bid in an International competition to become the operators of the property. SFA was subsequently appointed as architects and interior designers for the comprehensive renovations of the property.

SFA has completed stages SIA 32 and 33; the concept and arrangements for all aspects of the hotel and is currently preparing the considerable drawing package required for planning purposes.
