FOUNDER & MANAGING DIRECTOR

Stuart established Stuart Forbes Associates in 2005 after a 15-year career at the renowned Richard Rogers Partnership (now RSHP), where he worked on landmark projects including the Millennium Dome and Heathrow Terminals 1 and 5, as well as major international projects.

Stuart’s wealth of experience and technical expertise, combined with an exacting, calm and thoughtful design philosophy, has meant that under his leadership, the practice has built a reputation for delivering refined, high-end architectural and interior projects.

Known for his personable and professional approach, Stuart excels at leading projects with clarity and vision. His passion for design and collaborative spirit inspire the team, ensuring a creative and confident studio culture that consistently produces exceptional results.

DIRECTOR

With a background in marketing and design, Robyn brings a fresh and creative perspective to the practice. Having previously worked in New Business at Saatchi & Saatchi and M&C Saatchi, where she honed her skills in communication, strategy, and client engagement.

Robyn joined Stuart as a Director at SFA to lead the operational side of the business, with a focus on communication, finance, marketing, and recruitment.

Passionate about people – Robyn enjoys supporting staff in their professional development and wellbeing, creating a positive and collaborative studio environment. Organised, creative, and solutions-focused, Robyn plays a key role in shaping the studio's culture and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

Tom brings extensive technical knowledge and a steady, hands-on approach to leading complex architectural projects. With a sharp eye for detail and a clear understanding of how buildings come together, he’s skilled at navigating large-scale coordination while keeping quality and delivery firmly on track.

His recent role on the Fulham project saw him working closely with clients, project managers, and consultants to guide a large team through a demanding brief. Calm, collaborative, and highly organised, Tom helps create an environment where people feel supported, and where great work can happen.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

Jitka brings over 15 years of experience to the team, focusing on high-end interiors for luxury hospitality and retail spaces. With a background in both architecture and engineering, she excels at balancing creative vision with practical delivery, always thinking a few steps ahead.

She has played a key role in some of our most complex projects, including Fulham Pier and the Hotel Metropole in Geneva. Straightforward, supportive, and possessing a no-nonsense attitude, Jitka brings people together and keeps projects moving forward with clarity and care.
