Sael Spa at Fulham Pier opened its doors

Set across four levels above the Thames, Sæl Spa was conceived as a restorative retreat shaped by water, daylight and landscape. Stuart Forbes Associates led the spatial planning and interior design, creating a journey through movement, treatment, thermal experiences and relaxation, culminating in a 15-metre heated infinity pool overlooking the river.
A biophilic palette of clay, terracotta, natural stone, timber, ceramics, woven finishes and extensive planting brings warmth and tactility throughout. Daylight, acoustics, lighting and comfort have been carefully considered to create spaces that feel calm, immersive and connected to their riverside setting.
The result brings together recovery, wellbeing and social experience within a distinctive contemporary environment, forming an important new part of Fulham Pier’s year-round hospitality offer.
