Stuart Forbes Associates Finalists in Mix Awards 2026 in Positive Impact Category for Fulham Pier
We’re delighted to share another success for Fulham Pier - the project has been shortlisted as a finalist in Positive Impact at the Mix Awards 2026.
This recognition means a great deal, as Fulham Pier was conceived not only as a hospitality and leisure destination, but as a project with a wider civic role. By reopening a previously inaccessible stretch of the Thames, creating a year-round riverside destination and introducing public-facing food, culture and leisure spaces, the development helps transform a matchday-led stadium edge into an active part of everyday city life.
Accessibility, inclusion and family use were central to that ambition. Step-free access, inclusive amenities, family-focused spaces and a wider offer that welcomes visitors beyond the traditional football audience all contribute to a destination designed for everyday use by a broad community. From the riverwalk and food hall to the members’ club crèche and public-facing activities, the project was shaped to support social value as well as hospitality.
Together with live planting, daylight to all front-of-house areas, solar shading and adaptable spaces, these elements help create a development that is more open, more inclusive and more connected to its surroundings.
We’re incredibly proud to see Fulham Pier recognised again, and grateful to everyone who contributed to bringing this ambitious project to life.
