Craven Cottage, the historic home of Fulham FC since 1896, has undergone a dramatic transformation with the redevelopment of its Riverside Stand. This ambitious project increases the stadium’s seating capacity and elevates it to a world-class leisure and hospitality destination.

As Lead Designers for the interior architecture and fit-out, Stuart Forbes Associates played a pivotal role in bringing this vision to life. Appointed in 2020, we led the design and delivery of this highly complex project, ensuring a cohesive and seamless integration across every area of the building.
Our design approach sets a new benchmark in stadium design, blending modern luxury with the rich heritage of Craven Cottage, and redefining what it means to experience football in the 21st century.
Equally important to the project’s success was the emphasis on the non-matchday experience. The new stand offers a year-round destination in its own right, featuring a boutique hotel, state-of-the-art spa, members club with a rooftop bar, high-end restaurants, meeting and event spaces, and a basement entertainment zone with a cinema and sports bar. This ensures a visitor experience unlike any other football club in the world.
