Little Lighthouse Crèche

Conceived around the calming presence of the river, the space uses subtle zoning, watercolour-inspired finishes and carefully chosen natural materials to create an atmosphere that supports children’s independence, comfort and emotional wellbeing. Although located at the heart of a busy hospitality destination, it feels sheltered, immersive and entirely its own. The design also incorporates an unusual level of adaptability, with part of the crèche able to be discreetly separated for matchday use without disturbing the main childcare environment.

The result is a rare project that brings together behavioural design, family inclusion and architectural ingenuity in one memorable space.
